Trust & Expertise

Knowledge from the water, not the web

Norfolk Broads Navigator exists because generic travel sites guess about tides and bridges, and on the water, a guess isn't good enough.

We're Broads boaters first. The tools and guides on this site come from time actually spent navigating the Norfolk waterways, measuring headroom at Potter Heigham, timing crossings of Breydon Water, and watching how a northerly surge changes the rivers. That first-hand experience is the whole point.

In an age of mass-produced, AI-spun travel content, real expertise is the thing that can't be faked, and it's exactly what makes safety-critical data worth trusting. Every figure we publish traces back to a source, is checked by a human, and carries the date it was last verified.

Norfolk Broads Navigator

We've spent years navigating the Norfolk Broads, measuring bridge headroom, timing Breydon crossings and learning how the tides really behave. Everything on this site comes from that first-hand experience.

Years on the water

A working knowledge of the Broads built over seasons of real navigation, not desk research.

Measured, not guessed

Headroom and offsets recorded on the water, original data competitors can't fake.

First-hand observation

Breydon surge, slack-water windows and bridge behaviour, seen with our own eyes.

Verified & dated

Every safety figure is human-checked and stamped with a verification date.
