Mooring by boat
A large marina with short-stay mooring free and longer stays charged (historically around £10 to £14), including showers and water, with electric extra. The site was awarded Quality Accredited Boatyard status in 2025.
Check before you go: The foot ferry to Carlton Marshes was suspended in 2023; check its current status if that crossing matters to your plans.
About the pub
The southern Broads' premier waterside stop: an award-winning holiday park whose modern, family-friendly pub and restaurant carries Adnams ales and leans on local sourcing, from Waveney Valley meat to artisan bread. There's a huge deck over the marshes, an indoor pool, a shop, boutique rooms and canoe and kayak hire. Dog-friendly.
