Mooring by boat
Moor at Ranworth Staithe and walk up: the pub owns no moorings and can't reserve staithe space for you. A £12 fee applies for overnight stays at the staithe, or £5 if you're gone by 5pm, introduced in 2023. Stern-on mooring, and in peak season the staithe can be full by late morning.
The staithe is a few minutes' walk from the pub door.
About the pub
A family-run village pub and restaurant, refurbished in a fresh modern style, with real ales, a terrace and garden overlooking the broad, a pizza oven in the garden and a strong vegetarian choice. It closed briefly in 2023 but is trading again under local owners, with steady recent reviews. Dogs and families welcome.

The view over Malthouse Broad and the quality of the food come up again and again, along with genuinely friendly family service. The one universal practical tip: get there early by boat, because the staithe fills fast.
Nearest hire base: Wroxham or Horning; Ranworth is one of the great boater honeypots of the northern rivers.
